My Truthful Honeywell MF08CESWW Portable Air Conditioner Review
Honeywell is certainly one of the leading names in home climate control. They are responsible for creating a bundle of different consumer products such as thermostats. There is very little surprise that the company decided to release their own portable air conditioners. With this in mind, I just had to try one out, so I purchased the Honeywell MF08CESWW. The results of my experimentation will be noted below.
Before you jump into my assessment, you should take the time to familiarize yourself with the specifications of the product. This will give you a better understanding of the product’s power, size and overall performance.

By checking out the information above, you should have an idea of whether or not the product is suitable for your room. Below, you will get a breakdown of my time with this Honeywell Portable AC.
Does What is Intended
When I decided to experiment with this air conditioner, I knew the BTUs and square footage upfront. As long as you follow the same method, you will not be let down by your own expectations. The air conditioner does an excellent job doing exactly what it is supposed to do! It kept my bedroom, which is around 300 square feet, fairly cool.
Less Energy Usage with the 24-Hour Timer
I found the 24-hour timer to be truly beneficial. When you want the portable AC to shut off, it will shut off. Just set the timer and the unit will automatically shut off at your command. Of course, the remote control ensures that you won’t have to get out of bed either way! I really enjoyed these aspects, as they’re typically not available with most products.
Perfect Size and Weight
When it comes to the size and weight of the unit, I give it a thumbs up. It is approximately 20x25x14 inches. The overall weight of the product is right around 42 pounds. With this type of size and weight, it is easy to move the unit around. As the name suggests, this one is truly portable.
To be honest, Honeywell could’ve done a little better with their air conditioner, especially in the noise department. Despite the manufacturer’s specification, the air conditioner is actually a little loud. When using a good quality thermometer, it would appear that the air conditioner’s temperature is off by a few degrees most of the time.
Honeywell’s portable AC definitely offers some nice features and it’ll work for most consumers. I was satisfied with the product overall, but it does have some negatives that could drive you insane and make you think otherwise.
